When it comes to equipping a new gaming PC, finding a cheap graphics card contract can reduce or disrupt your budget. Big graphics card discounts don’t happen very often and when they happen, usually when better new cards are coming soon, making it harder to find old, cheaper things.
Even if a rare gold contract appears, it is likely to sell out quickly. It is very difficult to find cheap graphics card offers, which makes you feel much more satisfied when you find one.
Graphics cards can easily become the most expensive component in your PC, which is why we always keep track of the best deals we can find weekly. The money you save with a cheap GPU deal can go towards choosing the best CPU or a great gaming keyboard and mouse. Or you can buy a more advanced GPU than intended by finding a deal to lower its price to one level.

- Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080

Okay, currently the RTX 3080 is as rare as pigeon eyelashes, but surely Nvidia’s new RTX 3080 is the best graphics card today. It shows a huge generation performance increase compared to the previous RTX 20-series. That’s impressive when compared to the RTX 2080 or 2080 Super, but when you consider that this $699 card on this bethy name is not only suitable but also far superior to the $1,200 RTX 2080 Ti, it actually hits the house.
What really stands out from our experiment is the difference it makes to ray detection performance. The first generation of ray-detectable cards requires such a large frame rate sacrifice that most people dodge turning it on, but that no longer happens to this generation.
Now, when you can get ray tracking performance that exceeds the frame rate you get from the RTX 20-series top card when running without it, you know that this is a completely different monster. And hey, RTX 3080 can actually run Crysis.
Nvidia managed this by adding an entire load of multiple CUDA cores to the mixture in this 8nm GPU, as well as updated Tensor cores (to add goodness to the DLSS) and second-generation RT cores to create ray-tracking front points.
The RTX 3080 may need a larger amount of power — you’ll want at least one PSU 850W — and it’s hard to grasp that right after launch, but this is the most desirable graphics card today. Which I guess is also why it is so hard to grasp.
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super
The best 4K graphics card at a reasonable price.

The RTX 2070 Super is the fourth-level Turing card in the current Nvidia GPU stack, which is extremely powerfully packaged, but for our money, this is the card that we most happily recommend to anyone who builds a 4K gaming PC. Basically, it is a better version of the GTX 1080 Ti from the previous generation, with less cash and more verifiable potential in the future.
It is also extremely close to the performance of the much more expensive RTX 2080, mainly because it operates the same Turing TU104 GPU in its center. That makes it a completely different card than the standard RTX 2070 and much better for it; Therefore, Super is basically RTX 2080 Lite. But that name sounds stupid, not like ‘Super.’
RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Super are both faster graphics cards. However, unless you can find one for almost $500 of the RTX 2070 Super, I can’t recommend them to anyone interested in their ongoing financial stability. They requested an additional $200 on the RTX 2070 Super price simply for not yielding enough additional performance, even in 4K, to make a mandatory upgrade.
And the fact that the RTX 2070 Super can achieve impressive 4K gaming performance on reasonable high settings makes it a high-end GPU of great value and one of our current favorite apps. Sure, you won’t reach 60 frames per second in Super Mega settings, but you can still pay rent and play games in 4K. Did we mention that DLSS 2.0 is good? That’s right.
- AMD Radeon RX 5700
Best 1440p graphics card … with a little work.

I love AMD’s RX 5700. The Navi architecture, with its new RDNA core, which focuses on gaming, has given the Radeon team a generation of GPUs that can really compete with Nvidia’s graphics cards, not just on cost. And this is the first time that’s happened in a long time. While we wait for the rumored RDNA 2 ‘Big Navi’ cards to appear, the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT, are the top of the GPU stack for AMD.
However, as usual with the Radeon card, which is the lower cost option, is the option we propose. In fact, the performance of the XT card is not too far away, but with the hard limit on its pulse speed, AMD has deliberately hardened the standard RX 5700, so it does not make it difficult for the top card.
And then, it works well as a more expensive brother, outperforming the RTX 2060 Super and delivers excellent 1440p gaming performance. However, there have been some problems with AMD Navi drivers from the beginning and although I have been using the RX 5700 since its launch and have not encountered any issues, those issues have almost been fixed with the recent AMD driver update, making the RX 5700 one of the best products around the graphics card right now.
- AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
Best 1080p graphics card.
This is exactly what AMD set out to create: the best graphics card for 1080p gaming. Although its final form is not exactly what the red team set out to create, a last-minute base program update has increased the clock speed and memory performance of most RX 5600 XT cards, mainly because Nvidia chose that time to lower its price. OG RTX 2060 drops to $300, and without the RX 5600 XT will effectively DOA.
However, bits of ‘most RX 5600 XT cards’ are important when choosing which manufacturer’s card to use, however, as not all GPUs receive upgrades in both clock speed and memory performance. You should check the download for any card you’re viewing to see if it updates the BIOS to 14Gbps and a higher GPU frequency before cashing in.
However, when you can choose an RX 5600 XT for an initial price of less than $300, it becomes something worth buying. AMD’s Navi GPU has made a real impression on the market and it will be interesting to see what higher specification Radeon graphics cards can bring later this year.
However, there is still a case to be made for Nvidia’s GTX 1660 Super. If you really can’t spend more than $250, this usually puts the RX 5600 XT out of reach, but the GTX Turing card is great value and can still deliver great 1080p performance. Although not quite on the same level as this AMD card.

The Nvidia GTX 1660 Super was an AMD RX 5500 XT pre-head attack and effectively killed it. With just a little more cash (sometimes nothing between them), the GTX 1660 upgrade easily tops in gaming performance. It also highlights the importance of memory in the middle order of these best graphics cards.
The GTX 1660 Super is one of four 16 series cards that use the same TU116 GPU and actually use the same chip as the original GTX 1660. The only difference is that it is paired with GDDR6 memory, not GDDR5. That makes it significantly faster than the standard card and because it uses higher-performance 14Gbps VRAM, it can operate at the same practical level as the more expensive GTX 1660 Ti despite having less realistic GPU logic inside its chip.
This means that as well as knocking out the RX 5500 XT, it also causes a slight friction on its GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti brothers.

Nvidia’s GTX 1650 Super is experimentally the best value graphics card on the market today. That is if you look directly at cost/performance on its 3DMark Time Spy score as an industry-recognized benchmark for gaming capacity. Usually for less than $200, you’re looking for a graphics card that can provide impressive 1080p frame rates at even the highest in-game settings.
It’s even surprisingly likely at 1440p. However, you’ll need to eliminate some options that require greater honesty to achieve that smoother gaming experience like high-resolution silicon.
As has become a familiar chorus regarding Nvidia’s deployment of the Super GPU update series, the GTX 1650 Super is more like the GTX 1660 Lite than the GTX 1650. It uses the same TU116 GPU as the rest of the GTX 1660 cards, but already has three of them, and the classification between those ones is confusing enough. With the conversion in the GPU, the GTX 1650 Super has more cores than the regular GTX 1650 and it comes with GDDR6, which the standard card has only recently received.
