Growth of 483%, China's Xpeng electric car continuously sets a sales record

   The Xpeng electric car model in the Chinese market set a record with sales in May reaching 5,686 units.
   In its May 2021 sales report, Xpeng reported 5,686 electric vehicles delivered in May, 484% higher than the same period a year ago. This is the third month in a row that Xpeng has achieved the best results since the beginning of the year.
   In particular, for Xpeng to have such surprising results, it is necessary to mention the significant contribution of the P7 series when it accounted for the sales of 3,797 / 5,686 units in May. The Chinese manufacturer stated: "The number of P7s delivered in May proved its strong appeal to customers thanks to Xpeng's leading smart features. Launched in January this year, XPILOT 3.0 software and practical highway solutions in the P7 have been successfully used by customers, and the company also generates increased revenue from the proprietary XPILOT software. mine."

   So far, total sales of Xpeng have reached 24,173 units (up 427%) compared to the same period last year. Specifically, Xpeng P7 is 14,766 units, Xpeng G3 is 9,407 units. If Xpeng continues to maintain this level of sales, it will quickly become a direct competitor of NIO - the famous Chinese electric car startup.
   The Xpeng P7 has a rather neat appearance with a thin strip of lights extending at the front and quite smooth design lines, without many angular accents on this model. The interior of the car is equipped with two large 12-inch screens and red seats to create a luxurious appearance.
   Regarding the operating engine, the model uses a main battery pack with a capacity of 88.25 kWh along with two powertrain options. Rear-wheel drive system with 267 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. 4-wheel drive system with 430 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km / h for all-wheel drive is 4.3 s.
