How and where to buy AMD RX 6800 XT or RX 6800

You don't need bots to help get a new AMD graphics card, you just need to find the right place.
There is a huge demand for the latest generation of graphics cards of both AMD and Nvidia — especially on Monday Electronics is here. It's also no surprise that they both offer significant improvements compared to what was previously available and also a lot less money. The RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics cards represent the best that AMD has brought to the graphics card game. If that sounds appealing to you, here are some things you can do to choose one for yourself.

It seems that only last week, AMD released new graphics cards RX 6800 XT and RX 6800, and that's because it is so. November 18, in fact. We only have 11 days after launch and it is safe to say that the shortage of goods immediately after the in-store store does not seem to be resolved anytime soon.

The source of goods on launch day is difficult to come by, with many well-known retailers simply never listing a reference graphics card to buy. B&H only flatly refused to list a single RX 6800-series card until more rows were received. Wild.
Others have a handful of cards for sale during the day and there don't seem to be more rows since then. We heard the next third-party launch of the RX 6800 XT earlier this week was even worse — we couldn't even grasp any non-reference designs for consideration ahead of time.

The ongoing GPU drought is not limited to AMD graphics cards, with Nvidia's recent 30-series RTX graphics cards also becoming nearly impossible to track in any significant number. However, it is still possible to find them if you are hard enough: We have done the hard work for you in the guide to buying RTX 3080, RTX 3070, and RTX 3090 where.
And the same thing happened with the red team's latest silicon card graphics. It is not impossible to find a new RX 6800-series graphics card if you are willing to buy a larger PC. If you still want to wait for the card to leave, all your power. We are expecting more availability until January and February of new graphics cards, based on current predictions and comments from Nvidia operator, but full PC is the way to go now.

How to prepare an RX 6800-series graphics card before Christmas

Okay, I'll tell you a little secret. There is a way to hold an RX 6800-series graphics card, maybe even with just a week. Are you ready? You must buy a built-in Linkgame.

If you're like me, you'll want to build your next gaming PC, rather than have someone build it for you. But desperate times require desperate measures and the fact that a lot of the reliable system builders we propose below have done a great job of combining the system together for you.

After all, it might be your best option if you want to experience Cyberpunk 2077 with the latest technology or one of the many other highly anticipated games launched now. Seriously, there are plenty of great new video games for you to muscle up on your all-new Linkgame.

But if you're probably open to the idea of a pre-built graphics card or just need a new graphics card and want a new graphics card, then we can help with the availability we've discovered at the retailers below. Some of them will aim to deliver that shiny new RX 6800-series graphics card to you in just over a week.

In addition to the things listed below, Maingear also lists the types of RX 6800-series graphics cards available, however, it is not possible to guarantee the delivery date before December 25, 2020.

Note to UK readers: I've also looked at some of the UK's most popular system builders, Scans and Overclockers, but both can't offer any available arsenal of either graphics card even with the whole system. Just pre-order, I'm afraid.

Original
Origin offers a number of gaming computers to choose from — from small to large designs — that will all contain RX 6800-series graphics cards comfortably. You're also lucky that both the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 are available through the Origin store configuration.

You can choose a system with a good Ryzen CPU and RX 6800 XT or RX 6800 with a delivery time of only 6-8 business days. That includes either the Ryzen 5 5600X or the Ryzen 7 5800X.

The Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 9 5950X, 12-core and 16-core models, will be a little harder and will take 19-21 business days back for delivery. However, we are looking for pre-holiday delivery time and the opportunity for a whole new gaming PC with AMD's latest silicon inside will be delivered in about a week.

Remember, you have a choice of four desktop shells at Origin. Chronos is the smallest of them, while Genesis is a mighty 'super tower'. Which one you choose, it's all available with the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800, so choose your favorites and start from there.
Origins is a good choice for the all-new AMD Ryzen and Radeon systems this Christmas, which also allows you to activate Smart Access Memory for added performance. Otherwise, you're watching slightly older (but still great) Ryzen chips elsewhere.

iBuyPower
At iBuyPower, you can choose the RX 6800 capable in a variety of configurations. That includes some discounts compared to the list price for Electronic Monday — not bad for graphics card systems that AMD launched last week.
There's a bit of a wait for both the RX 6800 XT cpu and the Ryzen 5000-series at iBuyPower and that may mean you'll have to wait a little longer for your build to ship. You can grab an older Ryzen 3000-series CPU, many of which are available or just toss the dice on a newer version that will arrive on holidays. iBuyPower's pre-order system is based on who comes first served in advance, which does not provide accurate guarantees for delivery.

However, there are still systems available with RX 6800 today, such as the one listed below for $250 compared to the list price.
iBuyPower says any PC ordered will now arrive before December 25, which is an important day for many.
Network power
Cyberpower has a lot of options for RX 6800 graphics cards available, you can find them all here. Unfortunately, there is no information about the RX 6800 XT repository at the moment, so you may have to look elsewhere for larger models.
On the positive side, you can also choose the premium Ryzen 9 5900X or Ryzen 7 5800X along with your new RDNA 2 GPU. It's a match made in Paradise. Take a look below.

Cyberpower is estimating the delivery date as December 24 or earlier. If you change your mind, I'm the first line-up, darling, I'm still free... Get a chance.

How to buy RX 6800 XT or RX 6800 for upgradeNow is the time for things to get a little more complicated. If you can't afford to spend a little money on the entire gaming PC, then your options for a RX 6800-series graphics card will be greatly limited. Basically, there is very little there and we do not see occasional drip card feeds appear.

Maybe that'll change soon. If we had to introduce a single location in search of a completely new RX 6800-series graphics card, it would be AMD's online store. This is where we see the longest-lasting stock on launch day (we're still talking a few minutes here) and also where Frank Azor tries to grab a card before taking to Twitter to tell us all about it.

It may well be the best place to search for the un-released RX 6900 XT when it launches on December 8. There are still opportunities for the RX 6000-series on launch day, remember. But to keep expectations under control, that $999 enthusiast-class card will likely be the least popular of them on day one.

Technically, a third-party tag is just launched, but it's hard to find a lot of evidence to justify it.

That's just the way of 2020 and it is endemic to all technology launches this year.

We expect that we will see restrictions on stocks ease at least by March/April and hope to be sooner. There is still a chance of getting the card in the meantime, as AMD will still control the silicone pumps. You will have to remain on high alert to beat the crowd and win one for yourself. Speedy.
