Mr. Elon Musk once again asked users on Twitter, this time about the KOL who quit his job and worked full-time.
After selling tens of billions of dollars in Tesla stock, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, said on Twitter that he is “considering” quitting his job and becoming an influential figure.
“Think about quitting your job and becoming a full-time internet celebrity, what do you think?” Musk said in a tweet.
Musk, known for posting controversial tweets on social media, is still unclear about his true intentions of quitting his current job.
Currently, in addition to Tesla’s CEO role, Mr. Elon Musk is also the founder and CEO of the rocket company SpaceX, and the head of the brain chip startup Neuralink and the infrastructure construction company The Boring Company. At the earnings conference in January this year, Musk expressed his hope to serve as Tesla’s CEO for “a few years.”
“It’s great to have some free time from getting up to going to bed 7 days a week instead of working continuously. It’s a lot of pressure.”
Last month, Musk asked his Twitter fans whether he would sell his 10% stake in Tesla, and he got the consent of most interviewees. Since then, Musk has sold approximately $12 billion in Tesla stock.
Wrong tweets have left Musk in trouble in the past. In 2018, Musk was fined $20 million by the US Securities and Exchange Commission for tweeting and was forced to resign as chairman of Tesla. Even so, fans still need to pay attention to Musk’s tweets before publishing.
