The Infinix Concept 2021 mobile phone can be charged to 160W super fast, which surprised the technology community.

Not long ago, the manufacturer Infinix sent experts to evaluate an attractive concept device and launched its new ultra-flash charging (UFC) system. The system provides an impressive 160W fast charge, charging a 4,000 mAh battery in just 10 minutes.

Infinix Concept Phone 2021 also introduces two other technologies-an electrochromic film (SECF) that can change the color of the back and an electroluminescent film (EL) that can illuminate any shape.
The design of the machine is quite “cool”.
When charging, the phone will have a special visual cue-a bright line appears from the USB-C port to the letter O on the back, which looks quite “quality”. However, if this feature is enabled, the charging time will increase from 10 minutes to 12 minutes. Of course, this time is still faster than all existing smart phones on the market.
Although technical experts are worried about the risk of 160W fast charging, Infinix has made a lot of efforts to improve equipment safety. The phone is equipped with 20 temperature sensors to ensure that the temperature is always below 40ºC. In addition, the device also has an additional protection mechanism, bringing the total number of sensors to 60.
This is the fastest charging mobile phone in the world.
A key part of UFC is the 160W charger, which has a 20V power supply and a maximum output of 8A. It weighs less than 200 grams. The charger supports a variety of charging protocols, and users can use these protocols to charge the laptop.
The system uses semiconductor gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC), which is currently the leading charging technology. Because of their very high efficiency, they are also used in electric vehicles.
Infinix Concept 2021 has a fully charged battery with a capacity of 160W, which can be fully charged in 12 minutes.
The internal resistance of the 8C battery is also 18% lower than that of the 6C battery. This also means that less heat is released during charging. With a 4000 mAh 8C battery, the theoretical charging time is 1/8 hours, which is equivalent to 7 and a half minutes.
The actual test shows that within 2 minutes, the device is fully charged with 22% of the power, which increases to 50% at 4:45. Then charge 90% after 10 minutes, and finally fully charge 100% at 11:28. Infinix Concept Phone 2021 has achieved its goal.
At the same time, the mobile phone’s security system keeps the device below 40ºC. In fact, the temperature fluctuates between 39.5-40ºC. This speed is impressive, but most people will not wait until 0% to plug in the charger.
In addition, the Infinix concept phone 2021 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, 1080p+ resolution and slightly curved edges. This design has a high-end feel, but it is just an idea and has not been put into practice. At the same time the back design includes: 64MP main camera + 8MP ultra wide-angle camera + 8MP zoom lens, up to 60 times digital zoom. On the front is a 32MP “punch-hole” selfie camera.
The 160W charger made the technology community “stunned.”
This smartphone is a very interesting experiment, demonstrating the technology that can be found on future Infinix flagships. Let us wait for the company to launch actual products in the near future.
