The Witcher: Monster Slayer Early Access Release Date is imminent

CD Projekt Red and Spokko have announced that The Witcher: Monster Slayer will launch in early access for Android this summer, now with registration open.

For starters, this is a location-based RPG where you take on the role of a witch and travel the Continent facing death at its scariest things. The game was developed and published by Spokko, an independent mobile game studio that became part of the CD Projekt Red team in 2018.
Gameplay-wise, it's like a mix of Pokémon Go and The Elder Scrolls: Blades, with combat requiring you to block and perform sword-oriented swipes. Just like in the previous Witcher games, you also have a variety of bombs and magic markers to use, they will be very useful against many drowning people, werewolves and wolves along your way.
Monster Slayer also appears to have some of the same investigation mechanics as its predecessors, as you uncover clues and follow trails to find your quarry. You will even encounter retailers and NPCs on your travels.
